My fiancé and I were celebrating and decided one a date night at the recommendation of a friend and we were NOT disappointed! The staff was amazing! The food was really great I will say come SUPER hungry or just order appetizers and dessert we were very surprised at how much food it ends up being when you do the 3 course. This is definitely a fun and something special to experience.

Horrible. My server didn't even check on me the entire meal. The salad lettuce looked like it was rotting in the fridge for several days. Don't waste your money

This is one of my favorite spots! We've gone several times and try to get new options, but we tend to favor the load baked potato cheese fondue for starters. I love the red wine based fondue that you can choose for your main course. Our servers have always been friendly and a manager stops by about midway through to check on us and usually after the whole meal as well. The drinks could be a little stronger, but either way I definitely recommend!

This is my family's favorite special occasion restaurant. Eating at The Melting Pot is an experience, so allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy it. All of the courses are delicious, so we usually do the 4 course dinner. But if you are just looking to give this restaurant a try, go in for half price cheese and chocolate during their happy hour. This is a great way to save a little on your bill and still enjoy the most popular courses they offer.

Ugh. I was just not feeling tonight's visit. This was my third visit to this Melting Pot location. I have been to many other melting pots in other states. This one here in OKC, it just feels so off. It is located in Bricktown. I feel like it is out of place for that area. Honestly you could almost miss it with where it is located. Parking is $10 CASH at the closest public lot. So be prepared.
We enjoyed our first two visits, but those just did not feel right. Maybe it is the layout. But, tonight visit just solidified my feelings. The food is ok, the menu has become just a little confusing in the past few years. Tonight was a "date" night for my daughter and I. When we arrived for our reservation we were seated within 5 minutes. You could already sense that it was going to be a stressful evening. The hostess stand had multiple people there, and there was no "welcoming feel" when checking in. We were walked to our table.... right next to the kitchen. I dislike being seated next to the kitchen! Being seated near the kitchen was a major distraction. You had the one hostess walking from the kitchen back up front to the hostess stand. She walked so loud. Her feet just thumped along. We also had to watch every waiter and waitress enter and exit the kitchen all night long. One after another sometimes in multiples. Then we had to hear waiters and waitresses calling for food, asking for tables to be cleared and so on. The. We had to hear kitchen staff yell for food pick up, or a specific dipper for someone's table.
I feel as if we were judged. It myself and my daughter who is also enough to order as an adult if she wanted and well honestly if we had the funds HA! But, we prepared and saved for this dinner. We knew we were going to spend close to $100 including a tip. We did just that. But, I had to ask about the family night out deal going on for fall break here. We were not introduced to the grilling option that is available now. Our waitress was very kind and engaged in great conversation. But, as a customer I would like to know about all the options available so I can order what is best for us and our budget... that no one would know about, but us.
Then we watched as a large party arrived. Before they arrived the prepared the cheese ahead of time. As the party was walking in there were guests with wheelchairs, and one with a support dog. That did not bother me one bit. What bothered me though was a waiter and waitress snickering in the room right before you walked in the bar area. It made it look like they were snickering at the guests from the large party. A word of advice, save the snickering for an area where you are not seen. The did notice me giving them the "mom eyes".
I reserved through open table and put in the notes, a booth is available. So we got half booth and half chairs. Our reservation was early enough that it was not crowded. There were so many other options that would have fit our needs.
The food was ok. It does not give me that wow factor anymore. When I got home my husband and I agreed we will be just happy with cheese and chocolate.
In the end I still enjoyed my night because of my company. She truly is the greatest, and it was nice to see her happy and smiling.
